Riding indian Marwari horses is unforgettable: It makes you feel like sitting on an antilope. Stunning landscapes, unbelievable palaces, great photography. Our trip to India 2010 was a very special experience and so we decieded to share it with other horse-lovers and photographers.
From 12th-24th of February 2011, twelve participants can go on a once in a lifetime trip to Rajasthan. Christiane put together a special cocktail with nature, culture and Marwari horses with their fantastic, lyra-shaped ears. We will see two big Marwari-studs, ride on horses and elephants, go on tiger safari, do shopping and sightseeing in Jaipur and visit the legendary Taj Mahal. Information: info@slawik.com

Green palms, blue ocean, red cliffs and white walls created some stunning decorations for eight beautifull Arabian and Barb stallions of the Tunesian stable El Castille. Thanks to Sarah and Ali for grooming and caring so well!

Colourfull, exotic, and stunning: India is a diffent world. Cows are holy, but horses are divine! There isn´t much, we know about Marwaris and Kathiawaris, that´s why we had to go and check for ourselfs. After three weeks, the Indian breeds convinced us not only with their fascinating lyra-shaped ears, but also with their outstanding quality. Enjoy the new 2010 galleries!

Shadow and light, dirty walls and desert sand, sunsets and sea. For the end of 2009, we show some amazing photo-highlights from Egypt. Christiane worked with stunning, perfectly trained Arabian Champions from famous private studs, but also with simple tourist- and working horses. She loves, making stars out of them, prooving with pictures, that there is something special in every horse! Animals do not know, whether they are pretious or beautifull. But all of them have personalities and deserve our attention and love.

Romanian movie-horsetrainer and stuntman Valentin Vasilescu presented us his eight magnificent stallions in the nature and the Castel-filmstudios close to Bukarest. As a true horselover, he is already fighting for years against the cruelty, many horses have to suffer from in this country.
Also, we discovered some rare horses like Dutch Tuigpaarden, funny ponies and a lot of beautifull Friesians- some in Transsylvania, right beside the legendary Dracula-castle.

Despite the early time of the year, Christiane already had her first shootings around eastern. She met some noble American Saddlebreds and Arabians, fiery Andalusians, cute Icelandic Horses, Ponys and heavy Draft mares- all surrounded by blooming trees. And there are more to come!
