It’s not about looking over an artist’s shoulder and take unsatisfying pictures. These photo courses are unique: They contain an intensive both theoretical and practical instruction in the fine arts of equine photography. Thanks to elaborated methods you’ll learn the professionals’ tricks step by step. At the set you’ll be involved into professional photo compositions. Christiane neither needs dreamlike horses nor stunning studs. She has the ability to make each location one-of-a-kind and every single horse gorgeous in its own way. Sometimes the locations for a course are outstanding, but the events are always supposed to serve your personal needs.
The award-winning photo journalist Christiane Slawik is booked by interested stud owners, stable possessors or hotel proprietors. A maximum of twelve participants will get the chance to enjoy the instructor’s full attention at any time of the course. Christiane Slawik stands for intensive and individual care in all facets of equine photography. The joy of taking pictures as well as the species horse is dear to Christiane’s heart. She also gives understandable insights into the world of techniques: She explains how to work with cameras properly, which lenses to use and she also comments on ISO, TV and AV. She illustrates the connection between diaphragm and exposure time and gives advice on manual focusing.
Previous knowledge is helpful but not required. No matter if you are a freshman in this area or an ambitious amateur, everybody is welcome. There’ll be new things to learn for everyone since Christiane not only is a successful photograph but she also has a degree in education. She knows how to present complicated facts in a plausible way.
Before shots are taken in the domains portrait, liberty and riding, the successful expert gives her participants an insight into special features of each situation. During the shooting Christiane will assist with helpful information on how to create a good shot and how to take photos of a horse in motion. You’ll be amazed by her eye for horses and her talent to take perfect shots of the animal models. In the course of the shooting she’ll assist all photographers with patience and devotion. Her experience with the techniques essential for successful shootings is tremendous.
The results of the shootings will be discussed in the group and every participant will get copies of the shots taken throughout the day. Christiane is known for her respectful conduct and loyalty towards every participant. She will find the hidden talents for equine photography in you and she’ll definitely function as a motivator.
Christianes Photography workshops are educational courses to enhance your photographic skills and gain unforgettable experiences, which change with the various locations and stables. Knowledge gained at the workshops can be applied to everyday photography. She is sharing her years of professional knowledge and teaches you how to do professional photos in her very own way, but you cannot use her ideas and settings from the workshop for your own professional use. The workshops are not intended to build stock photography portfolios or websites. The photos cannot being sold for editorial use or being posted. All images taken at her workshops can only be used for personal purposes. You will not recieve any model release.
